Consul-Powered Active/Passive Disaster Recovery for IBM Storage Ceph Object Multisite Replication Refresher: Where We're Starting From In the previous installments (Parts Three and Four), we established a global control plane. This setup includes two...
Introduction Quick refresher from Part 3: we stood up a global control plane across the Madrid and Paris sites. Each site makes its own routing decisions locally, and the two cooperate over the WAN, so traffic always defaults to healthy, nearby gatew...
Introduction In Parts one and two of the series, we built local, per-data-center health-aware load balancing for the IBM Storage Ceph Object Gateway (RGW) using cephadm ingress terminators, Consul service discovery, and CoreDNS rewrites. In Parts thr...
Part 2: Bridging DNS to Ceph Ingress with CoreDNS: Virtual-Host Buckets and Health-Aware Routing In Part 1, we laid the foundation for dynamic, health-aware S3 ingress by deploying per-node Ingress HAProxy concentrators in IBM Storage Ceph and integr...
Part 1: Dynamic Load Balancing for S3 with IBM Storage Ceph Ingress Concentrators and Consul As object storage deployments grow, maintaining high availability and resilient access to S3-compatible endpoints becomes increasingly complex. Traditional l...
